“如何在加拿大做好自我保护” 讲座 新 闻 稿

近年来由于加拿大政府大量接受国际留学生,目前安大略省有14万国际留学生,来自中国大陆的留学生就有8万人。由于国际留学生刚走出家门、踏出国门,来到一个陌生的新环境,除了要适应校园生活外,还要了解加拿大的法律制度, 尽快融入当地生活。 为了帮助留学生尤其是新到的留学生融入社区生活,了解加拿大的法律知识以及如何使用警察服务,多伦多社区与文化中心邀请刑事律师沈晨先生为各位留学生讲解有关在加拿大的基本法律知识及解答大家的问题。 留学生们认真聆听,并问了很多感兴趣的问题。 同学们也问了很多自己亲身经历的问题,沈晨律师都非常详尽的与以回答。 皇家银行的客服代表夏之涵先生耐心介绍了如何在加拿大开户和建立信用。李诚斌先生详细介绍了房屋按揭贷款。 爱德特许会计师事务所会计师Edward Deng 也向留学生们介绍了加拿大的报税体系。 这次讲座于2017年10月12日晚上6:30在刘焱律师事务所举行, 地址:3190 Steel Avenue East. 8 Youth Employment Position Available

Toronto Community & Culture Centre sponsors 2016 Youth Workplace Project which is funded by Service Canada and others. The project is designed to facilitate the transition of post-secondary youth graduates to the labour market by providing them with the opportunity to gain meaning work experience within the finance, administration and social services industry.

Participant eligibility requirements are as follows:

  1. Between 15 and 30 years if age(inclusive);
  2. A post –secondary graduate;
  3. Out of school;
  4. A Canadian Citizen, or permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the immigration and Refugee Protection Act;
  5. Legal entitled to work in Canada ;and

Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislations.

 

No working experience is required.

 

The project is between May 2, 2016---Jan 6, 2017.

 

Participant’s wage: $15-16/hr, 35 hrs/week, and for a total of 35 weeks, paid by the Toronto Community & Culture Centre on a regular payroll basis.
